Another alien has landed!

(Alienware M11x)
I had a chance to get up close and personal with the Alienware M11x notebook from Dell when the computer company opened its latest Metro Manila outlet last week.

When Dell opened its retail outlet at the Digital Alley section of the Greenbelt 3 shopping mall in Makati City, one of the late-model notebooks on display was the Alienware M11x. Slightly less attention-grabbing than its older and bigger siblings, the M11x more than made up for its relative lack of brashness and flash with a much more capable innards.

Designed for gaming enthusiasts, the M11x is available in Intel Core i5 and i7 flavors. An Nvidia GeForce GT 335M graphics card injects the laptop with 1GB of distinctly fast HD graphics performance, ensuring realistic gaming experience.

In those rare moments that its users will do word processing, emailing, and other less graphics-heavy applications, M11x owners can disengage the graphics card and use the integrated graphics capability of the system.

The M11x costs about Php77,999 per sip.
