About This Blog

In October 2003, I was hired as an in-house writer by the Manila Bulletin, the largest broadsheet in the country. The newspaper's management thought it wise to assign me as a technology writer for the Bulletin's Technews section. Founded several months before my coming, Technews functions as the newspaper's focused look at the latest developments in consumer technology.

Covering the local high-tech market sometimes includes meeting interesting people.

Since then, I have been covering the local high-tech industry. I write about the latest, coolest, and sometimes, the funniest events, incidents, new products, services, and rumors that populate the local consumer electronics market.

At present, I am a contributing writer and columnist for the Manila Bulletin's Technews section. This blog complements my Watching IT column and the features and stories I write for Technews.

Or doing and experiencing things beyond the usual.

This blog is my look, my take on the consumer electronics industry, one of the few elements or aspects of human existence that have remained exciting and amazing.

Most of the time, however, it involves romancing these two.

Welcome to my corner of the online world. Come, let us watch consumer IT together.
